How long does a custom furniture project take?
We start with a consultation to discuss your ideas. I create a design, and once it’s approved, the build begins. Most pieces are completed in about two weeks.
Can I choose the type of wood and finish?
Yes. I work with any wood you prefer, and some client favorites include cherry, walnut, red oak, and mahogany. Finishing options include hand rubbed, brushed, or professionally sprayed.
Do you create designs from scratch?
Yes. Every project is completely custom. You can share photos, sketches, or general inspiration, and I will create a piece tailored to your space and style.
Do you deliver?
I deliver within 50 miles of Charlotte, or pieces can be shipped or picked up in person.
Is there any type of custom furniture you can’t make?
I can build almost any wood piece you have in mind. If you provide measurements, photos, or inspiration, I will design and create it from scratch. The only limitations are pieces that require materials other than wood or projects outside the scope of traditional woodworking. If you are unsure, just ask. I am always happy to tell you what is possible.
What is your pricing structure?
Every project is fully custom, so pricing varies by design, size, and materials. A 30 percent deposit is required to begin your project, and the remaining balance is due at delivery or pickup. I can provide a detailed estimate once we discuss your specific piece.
